The Greek organizations have presented a thoughtful and constructive proposal to support President Hanlons vision. It offers a stark contrast to Alex Barnetts clarification of the faculty vote to abolish Greek organizations, including a selective tolerance for high risk behavior. Further, it presents a much more mature and supportive posture for constructive discourse than that of the students who disgracefully embarrassed the College during Governor Perrys discussion. Dartmouths advancement potential would be well served by other campus elements adopting the approach of the Greek organizations.
