I am writing in support of the Greek proposal to address some of the most visible and pressing issues at Dartmouth today. My very best enduring friends bonded at the fraternity on a campus I love but socially on which I would have been lost without this band of brothers who shared common experiences while perusing divers career paths. The 60’s were a time of too much recklessness but elements of the Greek proposals seek to change much of what was not good. The very complicated alcohol issues and potential solutions are difficult to handle but I would find this as a cause for the demise of Greek institutions sorrowful and would anticipate ad hoc social alternatives potentially more dangerous. Thank you for taking this note for securing an enduring presence for Greek inspired institutions at our beloved Dartmouth.
